More than a year has passed since Team Pacman was established here in Sansan Global Development Center (SGDC) as our very own Digitization Team. The journey is still long for the team but we have come so far.
I am Chris, one of the Engineering Managers here in SGDC. I had the pleasure of working with this dynamic team where we make Digitization, an important technology used among Sansan’s portfolio of products, provide more value to our Global Customers. Before I introduce you to the team, I will share briefly about our Digitization Technology:
Our groundbreaking Digitization Technology is redefining the way we interact with analog information. By harnessing the power of AI, our system accurately identifies key information, automatically detects language, flags potential errors, and even recognizes patterns within existing data. This is what really makes our Digitization Technology unmatched among competitors.
But we don’t stop here. Our team, aptly named Team Pacman, is passionate about pushing the limits of technology. Their dedication fuels our continuous improvement, ensuring our Digitization Technology remains at the forefront of the industry.
Our team comprises seasoned Full-Stack Engineers, supported by a dedicated QA Engineer to guarantee top-notch quality. We collaborate closely with our Japanese counterparts from the Digitization team to deliver impactful solutions to our customers. Here are some of our past triumphs in the ring of innovation.
We have developed the Global Training Screens that were very instrumental in training new Scan Center operators supporting our global customers. Another great milestone of the team is on developing a customized Invoice Separation screen tailored to the specific country hierarchical and grouping requirements of invoice processing, ensuring compliance with e-Tax Invoice regulations and facilitating efficient VAT reporting. To cap off, the team also enhanced the Tenant Ledger screen with new search filters, sorting capabilities, and an improved date-search function, streamlining the scan center's workflow and boosting efficiency.
What challenges us now is the delivery of the Warehouse Project. To address the rising costs of storing physical copies of invoices, the Digitization Team has developed a solution that enables customers to retrieve physical copies while significantly reducing storage expenses through the disposal of old invoices. This innovative approach will guarantee significant annual savings for the company. We recognize the critical importance of this project and are committed to delivering a knockout blow.
